I have no problem admitting that I am incredibly excited Spring is upon us. I don’t exactly know what it was about this winter, but it seemed like it dragged on forever. Even though winter does always get my spirits down, it is officially over, so it’s time for me to be excited once again. I wouldn’t be surprised if you also dislike winter, so I think you would agree that there are much more enjoyable things to talk about.
A couple of weeks ago, my cousin had sent me an email and asked if I wanted to go on a trip to Chicago with her. In addition to being a nice surprise, things got even better when I found out the cost of the trip was going to be covered for me. These offers don’t come around all the time, so I said yes to avoid regretting missing this opportunity in the future. Our trip got off to a great start when we made it through the airport without any delays.
When we landed at the airport, we went directly to grab our Chicago car rental. Thanks to having a reservation in advance, it couldn’t have been any easier to get our Chicago car rental. Once we picked that up, we got to officially kick off our trip. Our trip to Chicago lasted for four days, and I can’t emphasize how enjoyable it was.
The trip was the perfect way to commemorate the start of Spring, and I know that the next five to six months are going to be a lot of fun.
