After living on the West Coast for my entire life, it’s strange to think that in about seven months, I am going to be moving to a new city in a different part of the United States. The place where I am going to be moving is Chicago, and the reason that I am going to be moving there is because I will be starting college in the fall.

Just like about everyone I know, I am extremely excited about starting college. It’s going to be strange at first moving away from my home and everything that I have known for my entire life, but I know that I will be able to adjust, and once I get settled in, I am confident that I am going to have a great time. High school has been a great experience, but I am definitely ready to make the transition to the next stage in my life.

I’m still not exactly sure what academic path I want to pursue once I get to college, but I still have some time to think about that, and I’m sure that once I start taking some actual college classes, I will be able to figure out what I like.
