Earlier this year, I took a trip to Chicago. Although I had been to Chicago on several other occasions, none of my previous trips to Chicago compared to the experience that I got to have during this trip. The reason that this trip to Chicago was so special was because I had the opportunity to see Barack Obama speak in person. As you know, Chicago is the place that Barack has called home for many years, and when you are in the city of Chicago, it is easy to see the impact that Barack has had on the people there and the true belief they have in what he can accomplish.

Even if Barack would have lost the election, my memory from Chicago would have still been special. However, the fact that he is now President of the United States makes my experience all the more special.

Because I knew that there was no way I wanted to miss his speech, I made sure to get a rental car while I was in Chicago so I could be positive that I made it to his amazing and powerful event on time.
